One of Many Transitional Homes
Helping those who need us the most.
How We Got Our Start
Lisa Lyles is the founder and CEO of “One of Many Transitional Homes”. Lisa is a resident of South Carolina. Lisa Lyles established the non-profit organization April of 2020. One of Many Transitional Homes has two phases.
Phase 1 is a transitional setting to house veterans, men and women, who are homeless and have struggles with PTSD. Phase 2 is a transitional setting for women who are non-veterans that are homeless and also struggle with PTSD and substance abuse.
One of Many Transitional Homes was established to provide a haven of safe shelter, anger management counseling, financial classes, work readiness classes, and more. Those are just a few of the services that this organization has to offer.
It is our intention to help all we serve to become productive citizens before life took a turn for them. One of Many Transitional Homes is the heartbeat of many.
Love is our foundation.

The Foundation of our Beliefs
Our work is inspired by the scripture Matthew 25:34-40, which reminds us of the importance of caring for those in need:

"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me'

Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'"
